Visual Identity System for RVU Tracks & Programs

The main focus of the template suite are these 20″x30″ foamboard posters highlighting each of the different Tracks or Special Programs offered at Rocky Vista University. I designed the posters to fit together like a triptych, allowing each poster to remain connected to the overall design and brand.

Examples of the 2 different Header plaques created. These were designed to be alternated above the triptych-style 20″x30″ foamboard posters, shown above.

Tracks & Special Programs Branding & Template Suite

I developed a flexible branded template system for RVU’s Tracks and Special Programs to help departments make better use of the student-facing space outside their offices while maintaining a cohesive visual identity.

I worked directly with representatives from the Tracks and Special Programs to understand how they envisioned using the space and to create a system that could accommodate a variety of programs, information, and future updates. The centerpiece of the system is a series of six 20″ × 30″ posters designed to frame a central bulletin board. The poster artwork was developed as a continuous triptych, allowing the visual elements to flow seamlessly from one poster to the next while giving each individual poster its own content area and header.

To extend the system beyond the large-format posters, I created two coordinated header styles and a collection of 8.5″ × 11″ bulletin board templates in both portrait and landscape orientations. This gave program staff the flexibility to create and update their own materials while maintaining visual consistency across the entire space.

The result is a scalable visual communication system that combines environmental graphics with practical, easy-to-use templates designed around the needs of the people who would ultimately use them.
