I love logo design. This was a fun project where I was able to create my own brand of energy drink. Much like in the Neoterra Museum project, I began by creating a brand persona for my energy drink company. You can find a description of Jolt as a company in the specs sheet above. As part of creating a brand persona, I did a competitive audit & researched other energy drink brands.

I followed my typical design process, creating several thumbnail sketches of possible logo designs. I chose the design that I thought best fit the brand persona, and refined it in Adobe Illustrator.

Through refining the logo in Illustrator, it eventually led to the finished logo. I decided that the inclusion of the half moon shape made the logo too busy, and I wanted to simplify the design. I scraped that shape altogether. From there it was easy to finalize the logo to the finished product.
